Cycle Lab Opens New George Store

Cycle Lab, South Africa’s largest cycling retailer, opened the first Garden Route store in George on Tuesday, 1 September 2026. Cycle Lab George is located at Shop 56, Eden Meander Lifestyle Centre. It provides an extensive range of bicycles across cycling’s road, gravel, mountain bike, youth, and eBike disciplines, as well as components, apparel, and sports nutrition products. A world-class workshop forms the heartbeat of the store, where riders of any bicycle will receive expert service and knowledgeable advice.

Cycle Lab’s retail ethos is based on six promises to cyclists, namely a Price Match Guarantee, 30 Day Satisfaction, the Widest Product Range, World-Class Bike Fitting, Unbeatable Bike Finance, and Best Trade-In Prices. The first day of trading saw hundreds of Garden Route cyclists stopping by to take advantage of this range, browse for future purchases, and take advantage of the spot prizes awarded by the Cycle Lab George team.  “It was amazing to meet customers and to start building the foundations of what we hope to grow into an active and engaged community,” Maartin van Rensburg, the Cycle Lab George store manager, said. “I’m looking forward to continuing to support cycling in the Garden Route and building this store into a cornerstone of local cycling.
